Injectable Skincare FAQs

How does Profhilo® work?

Profhilo® stimulates the skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin through the injection of highly concentrated hyaluronic acid (HA). This bio-remodelling process improves hydration, firmness and elasticity, leaving skin smoother, plumper, and more radiant.

How do Polynucleotides work?

Polynucleotides (PDRN) are biostimulating treatments that promote skin regeneration and repair. They work by encouraging fibroblast activity, increasing collagen and elastin production, and supporting the skin’s extracellular matrix. With additional anti-inflammatory and hydrating effects, polynucleotides help improve texture, tone and overall skin quality—acting like nutrients that restore the skin from within.

Why do I need two treatments?

Injectable skincare is most effective when delivered in an initial course of two treatments. The first primes the skin and begins the regenerative process, while the second builds on those results—ensuring a longer-lasting, natural improvement in texture, tone and hydration.

How often do I need injectable skincare?

This varies based on your skin's needs and your goals. After your initial two treatments, we recommend maintenance appointments every 4–6 months to sustain hydration, collagen support and skin health over time.

Can I get more than one injectable skin treatment?

Yes. It’s possible to combine treatments such as Profhilo® and polynucleotides to address different concerns—like dullness, dehydration, loss of elasticity or fine lines. Your practitioner will design a personalised plan based on your skin and lifestyle.

Which is the best injectable skincare treatment?

There’s no one-size-fits-all. Profhilo® and polynucleotides both offer transformative benefits but work in different ways. The right choice for you depends on your unique skin concerns and desired outcomes. During your consultation, we’ll guide you toward the most suitable option to support your skin’s long-term health and glow.
